The Warren County Children’s Advocacy Center is committed to trauma reduction for the child abuse victims of our community.
By teaming with the courts, law enforcement, human service agencies, and medical professionals, we are passionate about providing one central, safe, friendly, and secure location where children and their non-offending family members can come to share and cope with their experiences.
Thanks to the CAC, a child is less likely to endure multiple forensic interviews or visit locations such as police departments and human services buildings that can often be intimidating to children and youth.
We put the child first.
Current Projects:
The CAC is currently in need of donations to help defer the cost of conducting forensic interviews. Cases that are referred by Law Enforcement instead of CPS, or those in which the abuse took place in another county or state, but the child resides in Warren County, are not currently funded in any way. Children, families, and law enforcement never pay for our services. As of February 21, 2019, we have accrued $8,000 in costs relating to these cases…and that’s just since our July 1, 2018 opening!
Your donation will help lessen this burden on our organization and allow us to continue serving child victims.
