The BVF is an important, forward thinking, non-profit foundation created to benefit residents in our Brokenstraw Valley Area with supplemental funding opportunities for community-minded projects and improvements. BVF is a foundation that will help enhance the Brokenstraw Valley area for our children and future generations.
Future grants will be distributed only from the interest generated by BVF’s principal/investment capital-the BVF principal will be left untouched to grow. Each BVF donation you make will have longevity. As BVF’s core principal grows, so will our ability to impact our community for the better-similar to the spirit of the Community Foundation of Warren County.
For the purpose of grant distribution, the BVF considers the Brokenstraw Valley Area to include (but is not limited to): Brokenstraw Twp, Garland, Irvine, Pittsfield Twp, and Youngsville Borough.
Current Goals/Needs:
(1) Raise at least $10,000 annually (which will be added to the BVF’s principal/investment capital)
(2) Continue to grow BVF’s principal market value to a level that will generate sufficient interest so that interest-only will be distributed in a timely manner (in grant form).
