Mission: The American Red Cross prevents and alleviates human suffering in the face of emergencies by mobilizing the power of volunteers and the generosity of donors.
Current Projects/Needs: Would you like to help the next family affected by a home fire? Would you like to support our first responders at fires, floods, and search and rescue operations? Our volunteers responded to 6 home fires in January alone! In less than two years we have assisted over 60 people affected by disasters in our community. We also have provided food and drinks for over 600 first responders at 9 fires, and 2 search & rescue operation scenes. We have attended many local events and distributed preparedness information to over 2500 households. In addition, we have assisted over 30 local military personnel and their families with emergency communications services. These are just a few of the services our local Chapter provides in our community.
